1. Is the art in the gallery created in the area?

We have a wonderful mix of art from local, regional and international artists. Approximately 75% of the work is from local and regional artists that live within 75 miles of the gallery. The other 25% represents work from farther away, including Canada.

2. Will you ship artwork I have purchased?

Absolutely. We have been shipping artwork across the country and internationally for several years. We take pride in carefully preparing the artwork for shipping. And to our knowledge, all packages have arrived in tiptop condition. We do insure all packages just to be safe. There is an additional charge for shipping based on the final destination and the cost of the insurance.

3. Will you gift-wrap artwork I have purchased?

Yes. We will artfully gift wrap any package for you. Our wrapping is simple, yet tasteful and elegant. Packages are wrapped right here in the gallery. You can pick up your package during regular gallery hours or we can ship a gift-wrapped package directly to you or its final destination. You decide which is the most convenient option.

4. How many artists are represented in the gallery?

Year-round approximately 150, however, the exact number of artists does change based on the time of year.

5. Do the artists do commission or special request work?

Many of the artists we represent do commission work. We will be happy to make that connection for you. Please call the gallery directly or send us an email (see Contact Us - Commission Request). Provide as much information as possible such as type of work, price range, size if important, preferred completion date and how best to contact you.

6. Do the on-site studio artists teach classes or give demonstrations?

The on-site studio artists do not teach classes but they will give demonstrations based on the availability of their schedules. Contact the gallery if you are interested in scheduling a demonstration for your small group.

7. Can I purchase artwork through this website?

No, we do not have shopping carts in the gallery or on our website. But we are more than happy to talk to you about the artwork over the phone and will accept purchase via telephone. If you know what you want specifically, use our Request Art On-Line link in the Contact Us section to give us a description and we will follow up on the details with you via telephone.

8. What is First Friday?

Each month, on the first Friday, we spotlight one or more of our artists and host an intimate party. At the event you have the opportunity to experience more of the artists’ work and meet them in person. You can mingle with other art appreciators and enjoy refreshments. It is great fun and a wonderful way to close your day or start your evening in Hudson.

9. Does Seasons on St. Croix have any holiday specials?

We do not have “specials” but the holidays are special at Seasons. We expand the number of artists and have special holiday activities. We are part of the Hudson Holiday Tour of Homes and have a jewelry trunk show. Please see our calendar for more information.

10. Do you work with interior designers?

Yes, we are more than happy to work with you and/or your designer to help select artwork.

11. Do you work with artists for corporate or group gifts?

We can arrange for artists to create pieces to accommodate your group gift needs. We can also help you determine which ideas are best suited for this type of giving. Please contact the gallery directly (and allow plenty of lead time!).
